"The campaign teams worked hard for the past one month with the aim of collecting about 4,000 kg of garbage, including the bodies of dead climbers," Said Colonel Prakash Jung Karki of the Directrocrate General of Military Training (DGMT), who is chief Laision officer of the joint expedition. With two more days to go, the team are hoping to collect 2,000 kg of more rubbish before they make their way back.
The joint expedition of two army's from the neighboring countries consists of 34 members; 13 from Nepal army and 20 from Indian army, have trained for one and a half month to successfully carry out this expedition. With Major Sunil Singh Rathor of Nepal Amry and Major Ranbir Singh Jamwal of Indian army leading the team.
A definite Job well done, However I never knew that there could be so much rubbish there.
