On the finale of Miss Nepal USA held in New York at the mid-night of August 17, Bartika Rai was crowned the title – Miss Nepal USA 2013. After winning the title Bartika was awarded $5,000 in scholarship.
22-years-old resident of New York Bartika is 5 feet and 2 inches tall beauty. She enjoys making music, writing articles, and travelling. She was one of the 16 finalists claiming this year’s Miss Nepal US(A) title.
According to the organizers, Anuja Thapa Magar was awarded the first runner up and Sony Pathak was awarded the second-runner up. Anuja and Sony received scholarship of value $3,000 and $2,000 respectively.
The event was organized jointly by E-Planet Nepal and Event Planet Inc. USA. The chief judges of the event were popular journalist and anchor of CNN, Kiran Chhetri and ex-Miss Nepal Malvika Subba.
